Versatile Study Cards allows you to carry all your study cards in your iPhone. You create your study cards on your computer and transfer them to your iPhone using iTunes. An example set of study cards are included with the app and are stored in a file using a simple format known as JSON. This app has a batch mode which allows you to study your material in small batches by allowing you to remove a card from the batch once you know it and add another study card to your batch from the reminder of your study cards. For example, I created this app to refresh my memory of a language before I travel abroad, because I do not speak the language on a daily basis. Let s say I have a set of 100 study cards. I like to go through the 100 cards in batches of 10. When I come across a card I know, I remove the card from the batch and add a new card to the bottom of the batch from the remainder of the 100 study cards. I keep doing this until I know all 100 cards. This app also informs you how many passes through the batch of cards you have done without removing a card. This way you can see if you need to take a break and do something different because your mind isn t accepting any more of your study material at the moment.
